The Eastern Question: Russia, the West and Europe's Grey Zone Book Release

Developments across Europe’s east are testing assumptions that have guided Western policies for 25 years. Over the past year CTR and its partners brought together analysts and senior decision makers to build awareness, understanding and—where possible—consensus on how to approach Russia and eastern Europe. Senior officials, experts, scholars, and foreign policy strategists took part in a series of consultations in Kyiv, Moscow, Berlin, and Washington. This volume presents their insights and recommendations for Western policy.
